The Gringos Travel Log
| Recently, while Donna Byrd was going through some old boxes of
personal effects, she came across some old documents she had used when
keep track of her expenses while on the road with the band. These
records document the dates and the names of all the clubs the band
played from June 22, 1969, when Donna joined the band until September of
1974 the time when she left the group. From the time Jimmy first
formed The Gringos, many members worked and played in the band. |
| This is very rare photo of the band before all of the current line
up of players joined the group.

All the dates in Yellow show where and when the
band played before the rest of the current members joined. The dates in
Green show the Clubs and dates up to the time
Donna left the band. Dates in Orange
indicate where and when the band played up to the time Bush left the band and
Gray indicates the dates the band played up to
the time they disbanded.

| This was the last club Donna played with the band. She gave
her notice to leave late August and was finished when we left the
Sandpiper. The log ends but The Gringos continued. The next
person to leave the band was Bush. He left the band December 19,
1976. The Gringos continued until January of 1980. |
